Bernard Moret retired in 2016 from Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), where he is now a Professor Emeritus. Bernard Moret is well known for his contributions to the fields of computational biology and algorithms engineering, and for mentoring many young researchers through their doctorates and postdoctorates in computational biology. In honor of these contributions, there will be a Festschrift in his honor at the University of California at Berkeley, on June 2, 2017 from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
